Website

This is a really cool way as a teacher to create a website that can be educational in different topic that would be fun for the students to look at and learn from.

Website design

This was pretty fun to learn about. I don't see myself using this in the classroom because I don't think 2nd and 3rd graders would understand how to do this and be able to create a website.

Ipads

I thought this lesson was really fun. It was a cool way to incorporate technology into teaching. If my school had the money to do this I would want teach some lessons using technology.

Pod Cast

I really enjoyed last class. I think it was really run to learn about how to create a pod cast and how to use them in my lessons. I can see myself using them in my classroom because they can be a fun way to learn about different topics.

Fake website

I found this lesson very interesting because it is important to know if a website is valid or not. It will also be very important to teach my students these skills so that they know how to investigate a website to see if it valid or not.

google earth

Last class was very interesting. It was very fun to be able to find different places in Oregon and to be able to set up a tour of those locations. I could see setting up a lesson like this in my future classroom to help teach Social Studies.

imovie

I had a great time during last class because I think making movies is a great way to get your students interested in a subject. I also had never worked with imovie before so I found it interesting to learn how to use it.

Photoshop

This week we learned how to use photoshop in class. I found this assignment to be very frustrating because I have never used photoshop and I was finding it difficult to work the system. I don't feel that I will use this in my future classrooms becuase I feel photoshop will be too hard for young children to figure out how to use.

What I Learned

During the first class, one thing that I learned was how to use a smart board. I had never used one before and I found it interesting to use it a little bit. Another thing that I learned during the first class was how to create a blog.

When I went to the website "go2web20" I found a section where it takes you to many different websites that have games that you can use in your classroom during your lessons. Another thing that I found on this website was a section that gave you many different music websites. The website that I looked at streamed music from different countries. As a teacher I could use this when teaching my students about different cultures and I could play them music from that culture.
